A little guide for her favourite guests
Food & Water
Fresh water
Change her bowl morning and evening — she's particular about it.
Wet food (Untamed tin)
One tin morning and evening. If she hasn't touched the morning portion by evening, take it away — but skip the evening serving if it's already around 8pm.
Dry biscuits
Keep the bowl topped up — she'll graze through the day at her own pace.
Litter Box
Clumping litter — easy to manage
Just lift and gently shake the box from the front — everything shifts to the back ready to scoop. The litter lasts ages, so you won't need any top-ups for a week.
How to Make Her Day
Cheek scratches
Her absolute favourite — go for it and you'll make a friend for life.
Brushing
She loves it — keep going until she decides she's had enough and tells you so.
Lap time
She will locate your lap and claim it as her own. Take it as a compliment.
Stick toys
Whip it back and forth on the floor and she'll lose her mind. Genuinely great fun.
The crying
Ignore it entirely. She's a born attention seeker — don't give her the satisfaction.
She understands "no"
A recent development — be firm and she'll actually listen. Use it wisely.
A Few Gentle Warnings
AirPods: Never leave them out of the case. You will not see them again. This is not a drill.
Candles: She has no awareness of her own tail near a flame. If you light one, don't leave the room.
Plants: She does not share your appreciation for them. She does, however, have a mysterious affection for empty plant pots — don't ask.
